The Business

Eurest is part of Compass Group - the world’s largest food service provider spanning 50 countries with circa £4.6B turnover (UK > £850M for their combined Food and Services divisions) 'Eurest Services' was their original business & industry Food & Facilities Management offering, with over 1500 clients (UK only) across most private and public businesses and sectors.

The Challenge

The Eurest UK subsidiary was losing market share, so the focus turned to their 'Food & FM' offer. Compass decided to consolidate their proposition to focus on 'Food' only in order to re-establish their position as market leaders in food services and rebuild their B2B audience.

UK Brand Refresh Gets European Roll Out

This wasn't just a brand identity refresh. Eurest needed to be totally repositioned as a brand with a single focus and one that really cared about what their customers wanted. The UK Eurest brand refresh was so well received, Compass decided to roll it out to the European subsidiaries who were able to supplement it with localised imagery and language.

The Brief

We were asked to carry out a brand review and complete brand overhaul with a renewed focus on  'Food.'  This would be driven by a new website launch that could be tailored to individual European countries using the Red Dot System.

The Deliverables

The brand refresh included the new brand proposition, new brand imagery and contentand brand guidelines, copy content and a brand new website. The new website showcased the new brand proposition and revitalised brand was designed and built new video content was created. All B2B comms materials, internal comms and templates and training materials together with tender/ pitch proposals were redesigned with the new branding.

The Outcome

The new branding, website and brand assets were subsequently adapted and rolled out to additional key European Eurest subsidiaries.

A new focus for Eurest

The Eurest Brand was revisited and completely revitalised including brand marque, brand story, brand language and brand proposition with a new focus on food, the customers and 'whats important to them?'

Creating new brand language for Eurest

A series of photoshoots were carried out across UK sites including Compass HQ, clients sites, suppliers, warehousing and distribution centres, to create a new brand image for Eurest. This suite of still and moving images, was then incorporated into all internal and B2B comms, videos, design templates, brand guidelines and a new Eurest image library was created.

A New Marketing Campaign for a New Way of Doing Business

WIth a new focus on food, updated band identity, new brand imagery and a repositioning of the Eurest UK business, we wanted to communicate this to new and existing B2B clients. The messaging focused on ''a new way of doing business' which was reflected across all aspects of the business including new print marketing communications.
